A year or two ago I was mentally in a very vulnerable position - largely due to aggresive tactics by Barker Booth and Eastwood - Blackpool solicitors. I received a court document from a gentleman who called around my house.

At the time I thought the gentleman in question was acting on behalf of the courts. However, I later found out that this man was actually employed to serve papers by Barker Booth and Eastwood.

While he was at my home he recommended a legal firm called Palmer Hodgson Heyes solicitors, he even rang the number from his phone and passed it to me.

I went to Palmer Hodgson and Heyes and received approx 1 hour of what I understood to be an introductory free session. In my opinion I was given poor advice by them and ended up being banned from my home for 6 months. I was later presented with a bill for £300+ for a 1 hour session, a phone call and a letter.

Some time later, by chance, I was chatting to someone about my case and explained that my wife's solicitors were Barker Booth and Eastwood. The person asked which company she was using and I told them it was Paul Hodgson. They said that his (Paul Hodgson's) wife was a partner in a law firm based in Cleveleys and this is where I became suspicious.

His wife appears to be a partner in Palmer, Hodgson, Heyes solicitors. So I'm now wondering how many more people have been recommended by - essentially - Barker Booth and Eastwood to Palmer Hodgson Heyes or vice-versa and how much have these two companies benefitted from such a relationship.

I have called Paul Hodgson at Barker Booth and Eastwood to explain himself but he refused to comment on this particular matter. I wonder how many other people this has happened to?
